A/Prof Sydney Ch'ng has officially been recognised as an ANZBCPS Board Certified Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon.

A/Prof Sydney Ch'ng was named Peter G. Cordeiro Scholar by the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (WRSM).

A/Prof Sydney Ch'ng was invited to present the PA Shah Oration at the Federation for Head & Neck Oncology 2024 Conference in Mumbai, India. A/Prof Ch'ng also visited and observed Tata Memorial Hospital.

A/Prof Sydney Ch'ng was invited as one of three keynote speakers, alongside Prof Scott Levin (Philadelphia, USA) and Dr Aidan Fitzgerald (Sheffield, UK).

A/Prof Sydney Ch'ng convened the Surgery for Facial Aesthetics Conference in Melbourne, 16-18 August 2024, on behalf of The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. 

A clinical trial for non-melanoma skin cancer has saved a Sydney man's eye. Glen Fairweather, 62, is one of dozens of patients diagnosed with an aggressive form of squamous cell carcinoma who received the trial treatment.
