When you refer a patient to Dr Ch’ng, her secretary will ask for your referral letter and copies of histology, imaging and any other helpful information to be faxed/emailed to enable us to triage the patient accurately. Dr Ch’ng would be happy to discuss any patient over the phone or via text messages.
Yes, Dr Ch’ng performs excision of benign facial skin lesions, facial cosmetic surgery including face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, brow lift, rhinoplasty, fat grafting, otoplasty (pinning of prominent ears) and facial scar revision.
It is preferable for expedience of patient treatment, but not essential if you are unable to perform a biopsy because the lesion is on a cosmetically sensitive region, e.g., ear, nose, eyelid or lip.
Yes, Dr Ch’ng frequently treats patients who have travelled from afar, including interstate. Where possible, she endeavours to organise consultation, investigations, and treatment (if minor) so that they can be performed on a single visit, e.g., all within a few days. However, this may not be possible for complex cases that may require more than one in-person visits.
Dr Ch’ng is happy to liaise with you so that investigations can be done prior to her consultation. However, she is more than happy to organise all necessary investigations after she has seen the patient.
If you’d like to know more about our head and neck, plastic or skin cancer surgical services, or if you have a question for Dr Ch’ng, we’d love to hear from you.
